• The first Mercedes M8 in Glasgow

  Allan Pyott, an entrepreneur from Chryston in Glasgow, recently purchased a new Mercedes-Benz M8 from Cab Direct, which will be the first to be seen on the ranks of the city.  Allan, who owns various properties and a pub, was once a driver of a TX11 himself until he decided to rent his cab out.  Since then he has bought a TX4, also to rent, and now more recently the Mercedes-Benz M8.  But having always driven and owned TX’s, what changed Allan’s mind with his latest purchase?   Nick Johnson has been a taxi proprietor, and driver, for the past 25 years and still loves his job.  So much so in fact, that he can’t believe how fast the time has flown by.

  Khalid Hafeez from Edinburgh has owned and worked in no less that four cabs in the last twelve months but is happy to report that he has found the perfect vehicle for the job in the Mercedes-Benz M8 from Cab Direct. 
  Khalid, who has been a cabbie for nine years, recently traded in his TX4 for the M8 after owning the latest LTI model for only nine months.  He explains:  “I got so despondent with my TX4 – I completely lost faith in it.  It was off the road more often than it was on it and I just decided enough was enough.  It got to the stage where I just didn’t feel safe.  And when you’re vehicle is your office you just can’t have that. • Peugeot Eurobus – A Different Class

  Perry Everitt from Braintree in Essex has recently taken delivery of his new Peugeot Eurobus from Cab Direct and he is ecstatic with his new taxi. 
   
  Perry didn’t reach his decision on which cab to buy lightly.  He was determined to do his homework before making his final choice.   However, after attending the annual taxi show in Coventry and assessing all the options, the Eurobus was his clear winner. (…)

• Mercedes-Benz M8 – The Perfect Hackney Cab

  Keith Robins, who has been providing transport services in Hertford for over 30 years, recently bought a new Mercedes-Benz M8 from Cab Direct and couldn’t be happier with his choice. 
   
  Keith, who owns Chauffeur Line, has been in the transport business since leaving university in 1975.  At one stage Chauffeur Line, previously E.V.S, employed 12 drivers providing airport transfers and taxi services in Hertford and the surrounding areas.  In more recent times things have changed somewhat and Keith now works alongside owner drivers from his office in Hertford.
